Prawn noodles...

When it comes to Prawn noodles, my wife and I have different likings. She preferred the local Malaysian style with aromatic prawn paste soup and a little spice, which is the Penang style. The prawns are smaller or sometimes no prawns at all but the soup was very delicious and  fragrant. As for me, after trying the Prawn noodles here in Singapore, I instantly fell in love with the noodles here. I love the clear prawn soup and the big prawns here!!!
The Prawn noodles I had at Sultan Prawn Noodles restaurant, near Kallang MRT
Some of the prawn noodles here also came with pork ribs but I preferred the original type. How about you? :)

Me? Any style... Anything with prawns, I like!!! As long as they are really fresh and sweet, no smell...

Hi Chris, har mee is one of my favourites. I remember there were 3 places in Singapore I used to have this.
One was in Bugis street at night, one at North bridge road and other one at that iron market Lau pak sat, I think.

Its also the chilli that counts too. Not particular Singapore or Penang styles, oh ya, we have here too...at Malaysian restaurants. As well Malaysian friends making it at parties.
Have a great week.
Lee.

Small Kucing - seems like a lot of folks prefer the clear type!

STP - true true...most importantly the prawns must be fresh!

Uncle Lee - yeap, they put a lot of chilli in here to the broth! Anyway, don't think you can find in Bugis Street now. Maybe Lau Pa Sat.
